Brodhead Water and Light maintains an electric distribution system that services over 1,850 customers in the city limits of Brodhead. We are proud members of Wisconsin Public Power, Inc (WPPI), our power supplier, providing electricity to your home or business at the appropriate safe voltage.
Meter Reading & Billing
Gone are the days when a utility employee would walk to each and every meter to ‘read the meter’. Brodhead Water and Light collects usage data from your electric meter with an AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) meter. All meter readings are transmitted electronically to a mobile collection point, then, downloaded to our billing software. Since we have a computerized meter reading system, all meter reads are read accurately the first time with no possiblity of entry or human error.
